JUNIOR SYSTEM ENGINEER
SYSTEMATIC (CMMI LEVEL 5)
During first 1.5 year in a Defense department, I worked mainly in Java and C# and developed a tool for performance testing and analysis of a tactical communication service. Moreover, I created a dashboard for a team, used daily, delivering critical information and status about the project. I also developed a JIRA plugin making time registration of employees easier just by registering the time in JIRA, automatically registeres in internal time registration service.
During next 2 years I spent in a Library & Learning department where I worked mainly with web development, with Laravel framework. Angular, PHP and JavaScript, working on a web solution which provides access to materials available from school libraries to students and teachers.
I participated both independantly and with a team on different tasks, being part of all development phases; clarification, development, inspection and testing, using SCRUM on a daily basis.
STUDENT INSTRUCTOR IN PROGRAMMING
VIA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE
During studies of bachelor I was selected as one of very few student instructors to help and teach a class of around 15 students. Focus was on programming in Java, programming algorithms and agile way of working with SCRUM framework.
EDUCATION
DIGITAL CURRENCIES (EXTERNAL COURSE)
UNIVERSITY OF NICOSIA
Course was taught by Bitcoin experts Andreas Antonopoulos and Antonis Polemitis and covered both a technical overview of decentralized digital currencies like Bitcoin, as well as their broader economic, legal and financial context.
MASTER OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING
AARHUS UNIVERSITY
Study focused on software engineering and distributed systems. By having a close contact with lectures and researchers I gained a deep knowledge not only technical but also scientific level. Assignments with focus on analytical thinking widened my perspective on problems and challenged me to think out of the box, long term and cost-efficient. Moreover, detailed knowledge of key disciplines, methodologies and theories within computer enineering gave me a solid basis to perform engineering tasks on a high technical level.
Purpose of the thesis is to propose a system for identity management, using blockchain technology, which can support authentication and authorization of entities. Blockchain already proved itself in financial sector, with Bitcoin, to be tamper resistant and secure. Thesis focused on a use case from a healthcare domain, where doctors can access specific patients data if they have permissions to do so.
I build a prototype, website, where a doctor can log in and access specific patient data. Whether he has permission or not this is validated by the server which communicates with the blockchain network (Hyperledger Fabric framework was used) where the permissions are stored on the ledger.
From thesis defense, recieved a grade A – equivalent to danish 12.
BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING
VIA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE
During my professional bachelor with internship, studies focused highly on software engineering together with embedded systems I worked both independantly and in a group. Every semester a “semester project” must have been made which included group work, analytical thinking, programming, project and process report. During my bachelor I got an internship in a software company Systematic, which offered my a contract afterwards to continue during the rest of my studies.
Thesis was made in collaboration with Systematic. A dashboard was developed for a project manager and a team to display critical information about the project and give an overview when needed. Dashboard is used daily by the team members at the SCRUM meetings.
Second part included a development of a plugin for JIRA which integrated with the internal time registration system so users could register time in specific tasks in JIRA and it would automatically register in the internal system.
From thesis defense, recieved a grade A – equivalent to danish 12.
